1966 – 1968 Greenwich in Cow Hollow

1966 – 1968 Greenwich is a gorgeous Cow Hollow compound listed by Kim Barnes with Coldwell Banker. I know Kim from hanging out with her in the lobby of the Post International a few years back when we both had listings in the building, and she lists beautiful properties so I like to keep up with her!

When I saw her gorgeous Cow Hollow neighborhood listing on broker’s tour this past Tuesday, I immediately wanted to write about it, and she was gracious enough to allow me to do so.

This is what I loved about 1968 Greenwich and the cottage at the rear of the lot, 1966 Greenwich:

  • The beautiful kitchen in the main house, with a dining room that opens to…
  • An absolutely gorgeous patio/yard that has lush vegetation, is incredibly quiet, and just a tranquil spot to hang out.

Together, the cottage at the rear with the main home at the front make for a wonderful combination, and you’d never guess that you are on Greenwich street, not far from the busy part of Lombard Street. The properties are both legally condominiums, so if you purchased both together you’d have a total of 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, two 1/2 bathrooms, and parking for 3 cars in total.

The rear cottage also has approved plans/permits for a 2,500 sq.ft. Golden Gate Bridge View Home!

If you’ve got an agent and you are looking in Cow Hollow, have them show you this property. It really is special. If you don’t yet have an agent, and would like to talk about working together, feel free to get in touch with an email or phone call. And if you are the kind of person that wants to work directly with the listing agent, then contact Kim Barnes directly!

A beautiful new Marin County listing

Down here in the city we’re pretty psyched that it is sunny-ish for Outside Lands and that we’ve got a great NOPA condo for sale at 749 Baker St. While we might be the only new condo to come to market in NOPA this week, we (obviously) aren’t the only new listing in the bay area. A new single family home listing from Craig Swanson and Patricia Scott Winslowwith Decker Bullock Sotheby’s in the Lucas Valley area of Marin County caught my eye (in a very good way).

Backyard of 25 Zephyr Court

I’ll confess, it wasn’t the fact that the home is an Eichler, or that is has a gorgeous interior courtyard, or the five bedrooms, or the beautiful backyard with swimming pool that caught my eye. What caught my eye was the address – 25 Zephyr Court. I’m a bit partial to the west wind, since it happens to be the namesake of the brokerage where I hang my license. But enough about what catches my eye when digging through the emails, let’s talk about this incredibly mouth-watering gorgeous home!

The courtyard of 25 Zephyr Ct. in Marin

According to the listing agents, it is:

A beautifully expanded and remodeled double A-Frame Eichler with approximately 2,600 sq.ft. of living space. The home has incredibly lovely finishes and colors. In addition to the five bedrooms and  two bathrooms it also has two fireplaces and an artist’s studio. The home offers excellent privacy, and is adjacent to a creek with great light and greenbelt views. If you are in the market for a home in the San Rafael area, it also doesn’t hurt that it is just three blocks to Dixie Elementary School and an Open Space Preserve.

We really don’t work in Marin county, but if you are home shopping in Marin County then we think you owe it to yourself to view this gorgeous home. For additional property details or to learn more, you can contact the listing agents through the property website at 25 Zephyr Ct.

And thanks to the agents for being so kind as to let me blog about their awesome home for sale!
