What we love about 785 Oak St:

It is a beautiful combination of elegant and well-preserved Victorian details with a modern floor plan. The main level has two bedrooms at the front with a very large living/dining/kitchen great-room open space at the rear. While it is located on a busy street, the living area at the rear of the main level is very quiet. The main level also has a full bathroom.

The top level is staged as a bedroom and has high ceilings with a center cut-out that overlooks the main level. It is really unique and nicely done. The top level has a very grand feel to it, and that is before you get to the bathroom!

If you go down from the main level to the lowest level, there are additional bedrooms, laundry, another full bathroom, and direct access to the garage. 1966 – 1968 Greenwich is a gorgeous Cow Hollow compound listed by Kim Barnes with Coldwell Banker. I know Kim from hanging out with her in the lobby of the Post International a few years back when we both had listings in the building, and she lists beautiful properties so I like to keep up with her!

When I saw her gorgeous Cow Hollow neighborhood listing on broker’s tour this past Tuesday, I immediately wanted to write about it, and she was gracious enough to allow me to do so.

A beautiful new Marin County listing

Down here in the city we’re pretty psyched that it is sunny-ish for Outside Lands and that we’ve got a great NOPA condo for sale at 749 Baker St. While we might be the only new condo to come to market in NOPA this week, we (obviously) aren’t the only new listing in the bay area. A new single family home listing from Craig Swanson and Patricia Scott Winslowwith Decker Bullock Sotheby’s in the Lucas Valley area of Marin County caught my eye (in a very good way).

I’ll confess, it wasn’t the fact that the home is an Eichler, or that is has a gorgeous interior courtyard, or the five bedrooms, or the beautiful backyard with swimming pool that caught my eye. What caught my eye was the address – 25 Zephyr Court. I’m a bit partial to the west wind, since it happens to be the namesake of the brokerage where I hang my license. But enough about what catches my eye when digging through the emails, let’s talk about this incredibly mouth-watering gorgeous home!
